These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MotorGrid platform, operated by MotorGrid Inc., a company incorporated in Michigan, USA.

By accessing or using MotorGrid, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.

1. Use of Service

MotorGrid provides AI-powered predictive maintenance, parts inventory optimization, and customer follow-up automation tools for automotive service operations. You may use the platform only for lawful business purposes in accordance with these Terms.

2. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify MotorGrid Inc. immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you submit to MotorGrid. We do not sell your data or use it to train models outside your account. MotorGrid Inc. retains the right to use aggregated, anonymized data for platform improvement.

4. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance. MotorGrid Inc. is not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions.

5. Limitation of Liability

MotorGrid Inc. provides predictive insights based on available data. These predictions are not guarantees. MotorGrid Inc. is not liable for vehicle failures, parts shortages, or business losses arising from reliance on platform outputs.

6. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Wayne County, Michigan.

MotorGrid Inc. ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly (account details, shop information, contact data) and data generated through platform use (vehicle diagnostic data, service records, usage analytics).

How We Use Your Information

Your data is used to provide and improve MotorGrid services, generate predictive maintenance insights, optimize parts recommendations, and facilitate customer communications on your behalf.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256), role-based access controls, and regular security audits. MotorGrid Inc. is SOC 2 Type II compliant.

Data Retention

We retain your data for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days. Upon account termination, you may request full data export. Data is permanently deleted within 30 days of a deletion request.
